Obituary of Blanche M. Armstrong

Springville Blanche M. Armstrong, 94, of Springville, died at 7:07 pm on Thursday, September 2, 2004 at StoneBridge Health Campus in Bedford. Born September 30, 1909 in Bloomington, she was the daughter of Fred and Ona (Johnson) Storm. She married Dale Z. Armstrong on January 21, 1934 and he died on April 22, 1997. She was a homemaker and a member of the Springville Christian Church. She was a member of the Springville Home Economics Club and several bridge clubs. Survivors include one son, Stan Armstrong and his wife, Ann of Springville; three granddaughters, Amanda Armstrong of Boulder, CO, Sarah Nation and her husband, Jeremy of Bloomington and Jennifer Armstrong of Springville; one sister-in-law, Anna Stansbury of Bedford and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dale, one brother, Laudis Storm and two sisters, Bernice Roberts and Faye McCurry. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 pm on Sunday, September 5th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Peggy Casteel and Rev. Mark McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow in Springville West Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday, September 4th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
