Obituary of Harriet J. Armstrong

Springville, Harriet J. Armstrong, 69, of R.R. #1 Box 1056 in Springville, died at 6:05 a.m. on Friday, October 10th, at the Bell Trace Health and Living Center in Bloomington. Born on March 16, 1934 in Streator, ILL, she was the daughter of Joseph and Margaret (Clark) Crum. She married Virgil Armstrong on October 17, 1954 in Streator, ILL and he survives. She was a homemaker and was very involved in making crafts for her grandchildren and was part owner of Harvi Hill Farms plus worked with the Community Action Program (CAP) in Bloomington. She was a member of the Bethel Christian Church, Indiana Christmas and Mid-America Tree Growers Association. Surviving with the husband of Springville are one son: Joseph Armstrong and his wife Sheri, of Muncie; one daughter: Karen Armstrong and her fiance, Larry White, of Springville; four granddaughters, Arika, Kaylin and Alexis Armstrong all of Muncie and Sarah Armstrong of Springville; one grandson, Brian White of Bloomfield. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 4:30 pm on Monday, October 13th at the Bethel Christian Church with Don Myers and Keith Chanley officiating. Burial will follow in Dishman Cemetery in Greene County. Friends may call from 2:00 pm until the hour of service on Monday, October 13th at the Bethel Christian Church.
