Obituary of Vera L. Drehobl

Bedford Vera L. Drehobl, 79, of 1203 Lincoln Ave., Bedford, died at 2:13 am on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at Dunn Memorial Hospital in Bedford. Born October 15, 1928 in Switz City, IN, she was the daughter of Curtis and Myrtle (McCart) Jackson. She married George F. Drehobl on January 9, 1954 and he preceded her in death on August 27, 2001. She was a homemaker and a past member of the Bedford Little Theatre, St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church Alter Society and the Davis Memorial Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include two sons, Donald Dean Drehobl of Keller, TX and George Francis Drehobl of Bedford; two daughters, Georgetta Lynn Ledger of Addison, IL and Valori Bridget Sarikas of Gaithersburg, MD; seven grandchildren, Michelle Ledger Frank, Megan and Sydney Ledger, Abigail Sarikas, George Drehobl, III, Heather and Jeffrey Drehobl; one great grandson, Aidan Jackson Frank; one sister, Iris Hubbard of Bedford; two brothers, Bob Jackson of Greensburg, IN and Delano Jackson of Bedford. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother, Don Jackson. Funeral Information No calling hours are scheduled. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
