Obituary of Paul W. Dorsett

Bedford Paul W. Dorsett, 81, of Bedford, died at 5:03 am on Monday, September 8, 2008 at the White River Lodge. Born November 9, 1926 in Lawrence Co., he was the son of Marvin and Bessie Dimples (Fields) Dorsett. He married Catherine E. Beasley on April 29, 1945 and she died October 19, 1999. He was a truck driver for Commercial Motor Freight. Paul enjoyed restoring pedal cars and showing his Corvairs in auto shows. Survivors include one son, Jack W. Dorsett and his wife, Danetta of Nashville, IN; two daughters, Paula Dunlap and Debrah Kline and her husband, Jerry all of Bedford; one sister, Betty Howell of Bedford; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, three brothers, Bill, Marion and Leroy Dorsett; two sisters, Nelda Gould and Helen Burchard. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, September 10th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Gary Cornwell officiating.
