Obituary of Betty DeVoss

Gosport Betty (Fultz) DeVoss, 73, a resident of the Gosport Nursing Home, formerly of Bedford, died at 1:55 am on Sunday, December 3, 2006 at her residence. Born January 2, 1923, she was the daughter of Raymond and Thelma (Fiscus) Turner. She married Joseph DeVoss on April 5, 1942 and he preceded her in death in 1993. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Bedford. Survivors include one daughter, Shelia DeVoss of Indianapolis and one son, Joseph S. DeVoss of Chicago, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and one sister, Juanita Jennings. Funeral Information Graveside memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, December 8th at the Green Hill Cemetery with Rev. Mark McDaniel officiating. No calling hours are scheduled. Arrangements are under the direction of the Day & Carter Mortuary.
