Obituary of Betty J. Deckard

Washington Betty J. Deckard, 84, of Washington, died at 6:42 pm on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at the Daviess Community Hospital. Born February 26, 1929 in Casey Co., Kentucky, she was the daughter of William Finch and Addie (Wiltcher) Brown. She was retired from Ohio Valley Medical in Princeton, IN. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the V.F.W. Post #604 Auxiliary and the Eagles Lodge in Bloomington. Survivors include two sons, H. Preston Ross and L. Phillip Roberts both of Shoals, IN; a daughter, Vicki Reynolds of Palmyra, IN; ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Archie and Bobbie Brown and two in infancy. Funeral Information A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date. No calling hours are scheduled.
