Obituary of Brian H. Davis
Indianapolis Brian H. Davis, 55, of Indianapolis and formerly of Needmore, died on Friday, February 25, 2011 at his residence.
Brian was born on November 21, 1955 in Bedford, the son of Onus and Marcella Jane Davis. He was a 1973 graduate of Needmore High School where he was class Salutatorian. He was a delegate for Indiana Boys State and attended Ivy Tech and the University of Indianapolis. He was a former member at the Englewood Baptist Church. Brian married Gayla S. Hall in 1974 and she survives. He was a Senior Software Analyst for Farm Bureau Insurance for 25 years. Brian previously worked at L.S. Ayers, Alverno Administrative Services and American Fletcher National Bank.
Brian loved his three cats and all dogs. His regular routine was to feed birds and squirrels. Brians interest included physics, mathematics, the Civil War, science fiction especially classic Star Trek, and building model ships and airplanes. He was a kind and gentle man.
Survivors include his loving wife Gayla of thirty-six years; two sisters, Cathy Stewart and Connie Rott; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Silverville Baptist Cemetery with Pastor David Ferry officiating.
