Obituary of Robert Earl Davis

Huron Robert Earl Davis Sr., 58, of Huron, died at 12:55 pm, on Friday, February 10, 2012 at his residence. Born March 23, 1953 in Bedford, He was the son of William A. and Moneva I. (Hillenburg) Davis. Robert worked at Victor Oolitic Stone and then Big Creek Stone. Survivors include his caregiver and companion, Brenda K. (Morris) Davis; two sons, Robert Davis Jr. and wife Julie of Springville, and James Davis and wife Mandy of Bedford; a daughter, Nikki Robbins and husband Eddie of Mitchell; four grandchildren, Austin Davis, Alexis Davis, Abby Davis, and KayLynn Robbins of Bedford; two sisters, Janet Glasgow of Springville and Joyce Collins and husband Dean of Bedford;four brothers, William Davis and wife Nancy, Dennis Davis and wife Arlene, Claude Davis and wife Debra, and Philip Davis, all of Bedford. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Arleen Thompson. Funeral Information Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Monday, February 13th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.Cremation will follow. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
