Obituary of Thelma Davis

Bedford Thelma Davis, 88, of Bedford, IN died at 10:35 am on Friday, October 31, 2008 at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born July 12, 1920 in Lawrence County, IN, she was the daughter of Enoch and Stacie (Bundy) Patton. She was employed as an insurance agent at the Adamson Agency in Bedford, IN. She married Charles G. Davis on October 11, 1941, who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Central Church of Christ in Bedford. Survivors include one daughter, Rebecca Ward and husband Alfred of Bedford; two grandchildren, Stacie Collins and husband Benjamin of Greenwood, Grant Ward and wife Bethany of Bloomington; two great grandchildren, Evan and Wyatt Ward. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two sisters, Alice Root and Betty Mathis. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Tuesday, November 4th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Brother Darrell Simon officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday November 3rd at Day & Carter Mortuary.
