Obituary of Dan Dalton

Bedford Dan Dalton, 89, of Bedford, died Sunday, September 28, 2014 at his residence. Born April 25, 1925, he was the son of William Dalton and Nanna Lou (Ritchison) Owens. He married Beverly Concannon and she preceded him in death. He retired from the Bedford Fire Department and was a driver for Schwerman Trucking. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WW II. He was a member of N.R.A. and Teamsters Union Local 135. Survivors include three daughters, Kathy Corwin and husband, Rick, of Bedford, Leanne Eisele and husband, Jack, of Orleans and Karen Dalton and fiance, Mike, of Oregon; four step-children, Catherine Concannon and Laura Stroud and husband, Scott, all of Bedford, James Concannon and wife, Gia, of Florida and Christian Black and husband, Mitchell, of Franklin, IN; a sister, Kathleen East. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Beverly; a son, Danny Dalton; two brothers, Wayne and Clarence Dalton. Funeral Information At Dans request, cremation was chosen. No services are planned. Arrangements are under the direction of the Day & Carter Mortuary. The family would like to give special thanks to Premier Hospice Staff for their loving care.
