Obituary of Donna Lee Cummings

Bedford Donna Lee Cummings, 75, of Bedford, died at 9:25 am on Sunday, August 15, 2010 at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital in Bedford. Born July 12, 1935 in Jefferson Co., KY, she was the daughter of Ivory Johnson, Sr. and Lillian Frances (Logsdon) Johnson. She married William Cummings on February 15, 1956 and he preceded her in death in 1997. She was a Mary Kay Cosmetics Consultant and a clerk at Smiths Shoe Store. She was a member and the youth pastor for the Free Methodist Church in Bedford. She loved ceramics and crafting. Survivors include two daughters, Sherry Duncan and husband, Mike and Deana Eads all of Bedford; one son, Ricky Cummings and wife, Barbara of Orleans; two brothers, Robert Johnson and wife, Joyce of Elnora, IN and Ivory Johnson of Tunnelton, IN; grandchildren, Michelle Duncan, Jerrica, Jessica and Patricia and several other grandchildren; one great grandchild, Trent Duncan. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother, William Johnson, and two grandchildren, Danetta and Patricia. Funeral Information A private family service will be conducted. Burial will follow at Mundell Cemetery. No visitation hours are scheduled. The family asks that friends consider memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimers Assoc. or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
