Obituary of Katherine Gaile Cummings

Bloomington Katherine Gaile Cummings, 87, a resident of the Hospitality House in Bloomington, formerly of Bedford, died at 12:45 pm on Monday, September 25, 2006 in Bloomington. Born October 15, 1918 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Delbert A. and Ethel (Allen) Todd. She married George Cummings on October 24, 1953 and he preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a life-long member of the Mitzi Club. Survivors include one son, John Flynn of Bloomington; two step-daughters, Patricia Lyons of Springville and Barbara Todd of Vermillion, OH; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and one sister, Mary Alice Stevens of Bedford. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, Margie and Thelma Todd. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Thursday, September 28th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceport Cemetery.
