Obituary of Myrtle Ann Anderson

Bedford Myrtle Ann Anderson, 73, of Bedford, passed away at 9:16 am on Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at her residence. Born April 1, 1934, in Eastern Shore, VA, she was the daughter of George E. and Vernice (Kelley) Bloxom. She married Dean Anderson on December 12, 1953 and he survives. Myrtle was a homemaker and a member of the Avoca Baptist Church. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love and devotion. Surviving with her husband, Dean is one daughter, Libby Wilcox and her husband, Howard of Bedford; one son, Ricky Dean Anderson of Bedford; one grandson, Chris S. Anderson and his wife, Michelle; two granddaughters, Crystal Marie Anderson and Olivia Kelley Wilcox; two great granddaughters, Lauryn Michelle and Camryn Elizabeth Anderson. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Donna Marie Foos. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Friday, May 25th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Kyle Witmer and Pastor Ron Hamrick officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 24th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
