Obituary of Wilma Evelyn Crawford

Bedford Wilma Evelyn Crawford, 94, of Bedford, died at 10:50 am on Friday, July 10, 2009 at Stonebridge Health Campus in Bedford. Born March 14, 1915 in Jackson Co., she was the daughter of George and Coral (Krantz) Lyon and the step-daughter of Epsie Lyon. She married Huston Crawford on January 23, 1937 and he died October 12, 2002. She was employed at the Bedford Public Library from 1964 to 1972. She was of the Protestant faith and a Lawrence County 4-H Leader for several years. Survivors include two daughters, Linda Ann Stark of Kissimmee, FL and Josephine Stuckey of Bedford; one son, Warren Crawford of Mitchell, IN; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Tuesday, July 14th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in the Pinhook Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, July 13th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
