Obituary of Beatrice J. Anderson

Bedford Beatrice J. Anderson, 82, a resident of the White River Lodge, died Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at White River Lodge. Born March 3, 1927 in Wisconsin, she was the daughter of Victor P. and Helena (Demallie) Swan. She married Rev. Robert Anderson (Father Bob) on October 20, 1945 and he preceded her in death. She was a registered nurse working at Bedford Regional Medical Center as a surgical nurse and house supervisor. She was a member of St. Johns Episcopal Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include three daughters, Kathleen Elaine Dorr of Connecticut, Shirley Lynn Hawks of Nevada and Patricia A. House and husband, Steven of Bedford; four grandchildren, Adam Andrew Anderson of S. Carolina, Capt. Robert Gillespie and wife, Leslee of Tennessee, Aaron M. Gillespie and wife, Amanda of Pennsylvania and Michael House of Bedford; one great grandchild, Inara Gillespie of Pennsylvania and one sister, Lillian Wall of Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Victor Robert Anderson; several brothers and sisters. Funeral Information Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, April 19th at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Monday, April 20th at St. Johns Episcopal Church with Father Charles Carpenter officiating. Burial will be on Thursday, April 23rd in Sunset Ridge Cemetery in Kenosha, WI. The family asks that friends consider memorial contributions be made to St. Johns Episcopal Church.
