Obituary of Debra Fields Jenkins

Bedford Debra Fields Jenkins, 56, of Bedford, died at 8:47 am on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital. Born June 9, 1956 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Richard and Virginia (King) Herod. She married Billy Jenkins and he survives. She was an assistant manager at Circle K in Bedford. Survivors include her husband, Billy, of Bedford; two daughters, Jennifer Fields and her significant other, April Deon, of Bedford and Elizabeth Neal of Oklahoma; three sons, Michael Murphy (Diane) of Bedford, Jeremy Fields (Faye) of Noblesville and C.J. Fields of Bedford; a step-son, Landon Jenkins of Crawford Co., IN; two grandchildren, Jonathon Murphy and Benlee Lassley; one brother, Mark Herod of Bedford; one sister, Jamie Pemberton of Bedford and her mother, Virginia Herod of Bedford. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard; her grandmother, Lola Detinne; her grandfather, Joseph King; her best friend, Jerry Fields. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 16th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Saturday, March 16th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
