Obituary of Virginia R. Cox

Williams Virginia R. Cox, 93, of Williams, died at 5:05 am on Monday, October 31, 2011 at Stonebridge Health Campus. Born May 25, 1918 in Williams, she was the daughter of Merle and Bertha (Wagner) Smith. She married Henry Cox on May 1, 1938 and he preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a member of the Williams Extension Homemakers Club. Survivors include a son, Don Cox of Williams; two daughters, Sharon Michel (Gene) and Charlotte Michel (Jack) all of North Manchester, IN; five grandchildren, Gwen, Barb, Greg, Jeff and Jason; ten great grandchildren, Cody, Cole, Troy, Jordan, Elizabeth, Katie, Bailey, Skyler, Jaiden and Zach. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 3rd in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Steve Warren officiating. Burial will follow in the Williams Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, November 2nd at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
