Obituary of Sarah Marie Cox

Bedford-Sarah Marie Cox, 70, of Bedford died at 6:15 A.M. on Saturday, February 9, 2008 at Stone Bridge Health Campus.Born October 23, 1937 in Lawrence County she was the daughter of Charles F. and Mary E. (Asdell) Tincher. She married Winfred (Mutt) Cox on December 24, 1953 and he preceded her in death on November 29, 1997. She attended the First Church of God in Bedford. Sarah had worked for M. Fine & Sons, Sarkes Tarzian and retired from Thompson Consumer Electronics (RCA). Survivors include one daughter: Linda Charles and her husband Bucky of Bedford; one granddaughter Rachel L. Hillenburg of Bedford; one grandson Bucky E. Charles II of Bedford; four great grandchildren: Kane Charles, BreOnna Charles, Kortni Umphress, and Bekah Hillenburg; three brothers: Bill Tincher, Charles Junior Tincher, and Sam Tincher; four sisters: Joan Cassada, Mary Ethel Turpin, Patsy Gilliland, and Janet Sue Harris; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Mutt; one son Donnie L. Cox; and one brother Eugene Tincher. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 13th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Terry Bryant and Pastor Glen Duncan.
