Obituary of Cherie Jo Coursey

Bedford, Cherie Jo. Coursey, 48, of 111 N. Madison Street in Bedford, died at 7:42 p.m. on Friday, November 5th, at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born on July 28, 1956 in Lawrence County, IN, she was the daughter of Bert and Carolyn Joann (Covey) Hawkins. She was a nurses aide for 29 years in Lawrence County and was a member of Cornerstone Worship Center in Bedford. Surviving is one son: Tyson and his wife, Karen of Jacksonville, Arkansas; one brother: Greg Hawkins of Bedford; two grandchildren: Josie and Joseph Coursey of Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her mother and was followed in death by her father. Funeral Information Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday, November 9th, at 11:00 a.m. at the Judah Church of Christ Cemetery with Pastor Rodney Reynolds and Rev. Buck Smith officiating.
