Obituary of Catherine Couch

Columbus Catherine Anne Couch, 51, of Columbus, IN, died at 327 am on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Center. Born October 3, 1960 in Tucson, AZ, she was the daughter of William H. and Catherine M. (Leahy) Sears. She married Michael G. Couch on January 17, 2003 and he survives. She was a graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School with the class of 1978. She graduated from Ivy Tech Community College in Columbus in 2010. She was employed at Visteon until she retired in 2008. She was a member of St. Johns Episcopal Church in Bedford and enjoyed remodeling houses. Survivors include her husband, Michael of Columbus; a son, Kent Meinert of Bloomington; a brother, William (Kip) Sears and wife, Wendy of California; a step-son, Darryl G. Couch of Columbus. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 14th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Steve Terry and Dale Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, January 13th and from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Saturday, January 14th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
