Obituary of Annie Evelyn Jeffries

Bedford Annie Evelyn Jeffries, 86, of 2040 Plaza Dr., Bedford, formerly of 626 M Street, Bedford, died at 12:32 am on Sunday, September 17, 2006 at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born September 9, 1920 in Horse Cave, KY, she was the daughter of James J. and Florence (Houtchings) Harper. She married Orville Jeffries on January 7, 1936 and he preceded her in death on September 23, 1990. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cedar Cliff Baptist Church in Kentucky. Survivors include one daughter, Paula Feldhaus and her husband, Charlie of Jeffersonville, IN; two grandsons, Corbin and Cauldon Feldhaus; additional family members, Donna Burgess and her husband, Kevin, Tammy Corps and her husband, Bill, Jim Corey and his wife, Sherri, Joy Henderson, Eric Harper and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, Lula Henderson and Eugenia (Jean) Chenault, one brother, Stanley C. Harper. Funeral Information Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Friday, September 22nd at the New Union Church Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:30 pm until 2:30 pm on Friday, September 22nd at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
