Obituary of Rose M. Concannon

Bedford Rose M. Concannon, 78, of 2212 M Street, Bedford, died at 7:05 am on Sunday, February 25, 2007 at the White River Lodge in Bedford. Born July 14, 1928 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Presto) Magnus. She married Philip Concannon on October 27, 1951 and he survives. She worked at Bell Telephone as an operator and was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Bedford. Surviving with her husband, Philip, is one daughter, Marianna Teague and her husband, Wayne, of Bedford; one son, Philip Concannon and his wife, Cheryl of Bedford; six grandchildren, Lori Williams of Bloomington, Chad Teague and his wife, Brooke of Bedford, Shea Teague and his wife, Hollie of Bedford, Andy Dorsett and his wife, Melissa of Knightsville, IN, Michael Walls and his wife, Christina of DeWitt, Iowa, Christopher Walls and his wife, Angela of Evansville; four great grandchildren, Hadley, Campbell, Ava and Joel; one sister, Rita K. Morris and one brother, Poss Magnus. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Wednesday, February 28th at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Father Rick Eldred officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, February 27th at the Day & Carter Mortuary. A Rosary service will be conducted at 7:30 pm on Tuesday at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Donations Information The family asks that friends consider memorial contributions be made to the Lawrence Co.
