I was very sorry to hear of this tragedy when my sister passed along the news. I've been gone from Bedford for decades and I suppose it had been that long since I heard her name mentioned, but I remember Susan very fondly from when we were all kids. My heart is breaking for your dear family. Susan and I became friends at church and I was her visiting teacher. I loved her positve attitude, kindness toward everyone and sweet spirit. She will be greatly missed and always remembered. We are praying for you.

I remember Susan from when our daughters were taking dance lessons and later on the Dance Team at the high school. She was a very kind, sweet and gentle lady with everyone she met. Her many talents will be missed by our community.

I have very fun memories of Susan when we begin scuba diving. Susan, her daughter and I were dive buddies during our first scuba diving certification. We had a great time learning to dive even though the three of us had a hard time with the navigation part...but we did earn our certification:) We also ended up on a dive trip in the Bahamas and I believe this was our first "real water/open water" experience as new certified divers. My thoughts and prayers are with Rusty and the entire Collier and Pruett family during their time of grief. May Susan and Gage Rest in Peace. Mike, Samantha & Michael Daggy

i knew Susan through church... she was so talented. when we had any activity, she was the one to call to decorate- and she always did it with a smile. I love the way her and her family were so close.... she'e exactly the kind of grandmother i want to be...

I knew Susan because I was married into the family. She was a wonderful woman, with a beautiful spirit. Heaven will be a little better with her presence, we will be at loss with her absence. God bless the family as they try to get beyond this, and Susan, save us all a place.

Recounting all of the great memories shared with you Collier family yet being thankful for the friendship that I have aquired with Susan. What an amazing woman that we in this world have lost, and oh the hurt we endure when we lose someone like her. There is no question that the Lord has swooped up her and her little angel (Gage)... for a much greater purpose. I am reminded that she and Gage were only on borrow, and for this I am thankful that I have had the pleasure to share their being in my life!
I will continue to pray for you Rusty, Andrea, Erica, Melanie, Lenny, Jeremy, JT, Dillion, Isabella, Garrett, Cheznie and all the rest of your family find a way to deal with this great loss as well... because, if the hurt is so great on me... it must be out of this world on you. When I was growing up, if I wasn't at home I was at the Colliers house. Susan used to rock me to sleep because I would get scared come time to go to bed. As I have gotten older she made sure to bring that up and laugh about it. She was like a second mom to me growing up and a great friend to my mom. I will never forget her or the memories I have of her!
