I remember Lisa when I was only 11. We moved to vinnegar hill and Diane Boyd and her made me feel so welcomed. I have thought of Lisa Many times since then. Now at 47 it brings me great joy to have had childhood fun times with her and our friends. Much sorrow for her passing though as I recently learned of this. Mark and all family, May her spirit I once knew still shine daily in your memory as I am sure she kept throughout her short life. God Bless you all.

Mark and family,
I can't begin to say how sorry I am for you and your family. I can't relate my experiences with what you are dealing with right now. Lisa was a wonderful person and she touched everyone in different ways. Our lives are better since we did know her even for the short time she was on earth. My deepest sympathies are extended to everyone who knew her, especially to those closest to her. Mark, you were extremely blessed to have had time with Lisa. May her memory live on forever.

Some people enter our lives and leave a soul print with us. They leave a print on everyone they meet. Lisa was a beautiful girl that left that print on everyone.
Love endures all things and the love that you shared will be with you always and the soulprint will be with you always.
Keep in mind that through all you will always be together and will be again some day. But until then the soulprint will always be with you day in and day out.
I love you Mark and you will be in our thoughts and prayers everyday!

Sometimes I think those in Heaven may be looking down feeling sorry and bad for us. We were never meant for this world but one much greater. We just have a hard time imagining it. I wish you peace, Mark, Lindsey, Zack and everyone else in your family. I just love Lisa and the way she carried herself- her independence and strength were always remarkable.

To Lisa's Family - Although you do not know me I am a friend of Lisa's. We met back in 1997 as business associates whenever she was employed in Bloomington in the medical field. We had lunch together, attended meetings/workshops together and shared both of our specialties OB/GYN & Orthopaedics together. Lisa also belonged to an organization called PAHCOM (Professional Association of Health Care Office Management) and had many business friends there on both a national and on a local chapter level. I even came to Dunn and gave a presentation on PAHCOM for her. She was a great person and contributor to this organization. Lisa will be greatly missed not only in your hearts but mine also. I will always remember her smiles, upbeat attitude and the laughter she always shared. All of you will be remembered in my prayers for your loss and may God Bless each and every one of you. Lisa's Friend, Rhea Dawn Buskirk

Something Lisa might say to you at this time: Ive come to the end of my journey I've travel my last weary mile, Forget if you can, that I ever frowned And only remember my smile. Forget that I ever had heartache Only remember Ive had loads of fun.
Then forget to grieve for my going, I would not have you sad for a day. But in summer just gather some flowers And remember the place where I lay.
Come in the shade of the evening When the sun paints the sky in the west. Stand for a few moments beside me And remember only my best.
(May God give you comfort and strength)

My step sister went home to the lord after a long bout of cancer. This poem was precious to my step mother. I hope you Mark, and your family find some peace in it.
God saw you getting tired, When a cure was not to be. So He wrapped his arms around you, and whispered, "Come to me". You didn't deserve what you went through, So He gave you rest. God's garden must be beautiful, He only takes the best And when I saw you sleeping, So peaceful and free from pain I could not wish you back To suffer that again.
