Obituary of Ethel H. Clemons

Indianapolis Ethel H. Clemons, 89, of 8905 Evergreen Ave., Indianapolis, formerly of Bedford, IN, died on Wednesday, November 8, 2006. Born June 26, 1917 in Cadiz, KY, she was the daughter of Johnnie and Hattie Greenwade. She is survived by her husband William L. Clemons whom she was married to for thirty-three years. She was a graduate of the Madam C.J. Walker Beauty School and had owned a beauty shop in Ft. Wayne, IN. She was a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Indianapolis and the Second Baptist Church in Bedford. She also leaves behind three nieces and a nephew, Ann Litzy, Lauretta Robinson, Sandra Franklin, Richard Swarn; several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Friday, November 10th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Donald Griffin, Sr. officiating. A graveside committal service will be conducted at 1:30 pm on Friday at New Crown Cemetery in Indianapolis. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, November 9th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
