Obituary of Monte S. Anderson

Monte S. Anderson Monte S. Anderson, 65, of 960 Blue Spring Caverns Rd, died at 6:03 am on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at Dunn Memorial Hospital. Born October 27, 1943 in Bedford, he was the son of John and Arie M. (Hubbard) Anderson. Monte married Rhea Dawn Tirey on January 27, 1962. He was retired from NWSC Crane. Survivors include his wife; one son, Trent Anderson and his wife Darla of Oolitic; two grandsons, Dason and Devin Anderson; one brother, John Cameron Anderson and his wife Hettie of Bedford; one sister, Wynn Adams and her husband Kenny of Linton and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 1st from the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Kenny Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Hopkins Cemetery. Friends may call at Day & Carter Mortuary on Tuesday, March 31st from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. There will be a visitation for his special Amish friends on Wednesday, April 1st from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. (English Time) at Sharon Mosiers Log Cabin Auction Barn in Bromer.
