Obituary of Sarah Catherine James

Bedford Sarah Catherine Katie James, 91, of 425 S Street, Bedford, died at 12:40 pm on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at her residence. Born September 13, 1917 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Farris and Sarah (Dalton) Bolding. She married John A. James in June 1948 and he preceded her in death on February 14, 2005. She was a homemaker. Survivors include one son, Stephen A. James of Bedford. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter, Donna Jean McClain Beasley in 1964; three sisters, Lola Hancock, Ruth Alexander and Elsie Dobkins; two brothers, Ted and Chet Bolding. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 17th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Jeff Hauersperger officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, July 16th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
