Obituary of Lois Thompson Chaney

Mitchell Lois Thompson Chaney, 73, a resident of Mitchell Manor, died at 6:35 am on Sunday, December 31, 2006 at Kindred Hospital in Indianapolis. Born August 1, 1933 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Roy and Bessie C. (Plake) Thompson. She was an office worker in Indianapolis. Survivors include one daughter, Samantha J. Blanchard of Minnesota; two brothers, Donald G. and Jerry Thompson, both of Indianapolis; one sister, Millie F. Riehl of Indianapolis; two grandchildren, Bethany and Nathaniel Blanchard; two nephews, Larry and Michael Riehl. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 6th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Donald G. Thompson officiating. Cremation will follow. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, January 5th and from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Saturday at the Day & Carter Mortuary. View Video Tribute
