Obituary of Ruth J. Cazee

Bedford Ruth J. (Sipes) Cazee, 83, of Bedford, died at 4:15 pm on Monday, April 22, 2013 at Johnsons Christian Village in Fayetteville. Born November 9, 1930 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Everett E. and Winnie Lorraine (Bridges) Sipes. She married Charles Cazee on July 15, 1950 and he preceded her in death on April 12, 2010. She retired in 1992 after working as a medical assistant for thirty-nine years. She was employed by Dr. Donald M. Kerr from 1952-1987 and later worked for Dr. Bruce and Dr. Guy Waldo until her retirement. She attended the Free Methodist Church and enjoyed crocheting and gardening. Survivors include a niece, Sheri Zuker and husband, Larry of Evanston, IL; a nephew, Tony Sipes of Bloomington, IN and several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, David R Cazee; a brother, Robert Sipes; four half-brothers, Paul, Ralph, Clyde and Everett Sipes; a half-sister, Marie Sipes Moore. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 26th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor John Lane officiating. Burial will follow in the Beech Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Friday, April 26th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
