Obituary of Carrie Lucille Cave

She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed. Bedford Carrie Lucille Cave, 82, a resident of Westview Nursing and Rehab. Center, formerly of 1513 R Street, Bedford, died at 5:27 am on Friday, June 25, 2004 at Westview Manor. Born June 24, 1922 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Roy and Ethel (Hicks) White. She married Gordon Spears and he preceded her in death. She later married Joe Cave and he also preceded her in death. She was a beautician, a 4-H leader and a Rainbow Mom. She was a member of the Oolitic Methodist Church, Solsberry Order of the Eastern Star #54 and Naomi and Rebekkah Lodge #91. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed. Survivors included one daughter, Anna Marie Bruhy and her husband, Fred of Springville; one son-in-law, Don Condon; two grandchildren, Jared Robert Condon and his fiance, Tara Terrell and Ashley Carajean Condon and her companion, Jason Baker; four great grandchildren, David, Quentin, Annabelle and Gabriel. She was preceded in death by her parents and both husbands. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday, June 28th at the Oolitic Methodist Church with Rev. Dan Voorhies officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, June 27th at the Day & Carter Mortuary and from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Monday, June 28th at the Oolitic Methodist Church.
