To Alicia's family, I have fond memories of Alicia at R St. Grocery. I am not from Bedford, but when we moved here, she made me feel so welcome. I loved talking to her at the store and following her realtor career. Take care, Kathy

Eldon and family, so sorry to hear of your loss. Below is something that was on a card I recieved when my Mom passed. I thought it was the most beautiful and fitting thing I had ever read and it gave me great comfort. I am passing along in hopes it can help you a little.
Every blade in the field Every leaf in the forest Lays down its life in its season As beautifully as it was taken up

Please accept our condolences on your loss. May our Lord's promise of the resurrection to eternal life give you comfort.
"The trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: 'Death is swallowed up in victory.' 'O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?' The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." 1 Corinthians 15:52b-57

Dear Eldon and family
I was so sad to read about Alicia's passing in the Times Mail. I have so many good memories of our bridge playing days - our trip to see IU play Illinois - lots of good times. I will always remember Alicia with love. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
Your old friend, Joann
