Obituary of Vera Oneta Bryant

Bedford Vera Oneta Bryant, 75, of Bedford, died at 12:10 am on Thursday, February 19, 2004 at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born February 21, 1928 in Mitchell, she was the daughter of Ernest Prunty and Vera Myrtle (Minton) Stamper. She married Amon Bryant on February 25, 1967 and he died in March 1974. She was a homemaker. Survivors include two daughters, Jean Holmes and her husband Mike of Avoca and Joanne Durnill of Oolitic; two grandchildren, Kim Clark and Jennifer Pemberton both of Avoca; four great grandchildren, Chad Daggy, Travis Silvers, Kegahn Pemberton and Tyler Pemberton; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Amon; one brother, James Malcolm Prunty; three sisters, Donna Taylor, Mary Brinson and Erma Russell. Funeral Information Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, February 20th at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 21st at the Beech Grove Cemetery with Pat Blyeth officiating.
