Obituary of Reba Ann Brooking

Bedford Reba Ann Brooking, 60, of 1519 17th Street, Bedford, died at 9:40 am on Friday, November 6, 2009 at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born August 21, 1949 in Enterprise, Alabama, she was the daughter of James Carroll and Hassie (Register) Brown. She married Kenneth Brooking on March 8, 1969 and he survives. She was a homemaker and a member of the Englewood Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth, of Bedford; two sons, Jason Brooking and wife, Jodie of Worthington, IN, Kyle Brooking and wife, Danielle of Indianapolis, IN: two sisters, Carolyn Wever and husband, David of Valparaiso, IN, Betty Willoughby and husband, James of Bedford; her second mother, Donna Troxel of Bedford; grandchildren, Stewart and Karrick Brooking; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Gelene Fugate; two granddaughters, Isabelle and Olivia Brooking. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Tuesday, November 10th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. David Ferry officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, November 9th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
