Obituary of Margaret Brooking

Bedford Margaret Brooking, 84 of Tunnelton Road, Bedford, died at 10:08 am on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at her residence. Born December 31, 1923 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Ralph and Frances (Browning) Fish. She married Henry Brooking on December 24, 1944 and he preceded her in death on September 29, 1998. She was a homemaker and a member of the White River Baptist Church in Buddha. Survivors include two daughters, Emily Bridwell and her husband, Kevin of Bedford, Melissa Potts and her husband, Kevin of Louisville, KY ; two sons, Phil and his wife, Melinda and Tim Brooking all of Bedford; one sister, Nancy Brudnak of Bedford; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Warren Keith Kibby Brooking; two brothers, William and Joe Fish; one sister, Mary Jean Sloop. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 2nd at the White River Baptist Church with Kenny Dalton officiating. Burial will follow in the White River Baptist Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Saturday, August 2nd at the White River Baptist Church.
