Obituary of Shirley Brazzell

Shirley Brazzell Shirley Brazzell, 70, of 1711 Williams Road, passed away at 7:07 AM, Saturday, November 22nd at the Monroe Hospital in Bloomington, IN Born on March 23, 1938 in Salem, IN she was the daughter of Hargus Brewer and Evelyn (Kay) Brewer. She was a graduate of Orleans High School and a retired waitress from Hobbys. Surviving is her childrens father, Charles Brazzell of Bedford; two daughters, Sherry Strange Downey of Georgetown, IN and Deanna Maria Brazzell of French Lick, IN; three sons, John Robert Strange, Jr., Charles Andrew Brazzell and Daniel (Tony) Brazzell all of Bedford; 21 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; five sisters, Margaret Burton of Orleans, IN, Ruth Embree of Bedford, IN, Mary Sue Sosh of Florida, Pat Mullis of Bedford, IN and Moyne Lininger of Columbus, IN; one brother, Hargus Brewer of Columbus, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Hargus Dean Brazzell, two sisters, Carol Kelly and Beulah Robertson, one brother, George Brewer and one great granddaughter, Brooklynn Ball. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 25th from the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Jeff Nikirk officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call at Day & Carter Mortuary on Monday, November 24th from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
