Obituary of Hattie Cornett Bowman

Melbourne, FL Hattie Cornett Bowman, 69 of 1250 White Oak Circle, Melbourne, FL died at 10:48 am on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at her residence. Born May 25, 1938 in Hazard, KY she was the daughter of Boyd and Mary (McLemore) Cornett. She married Welbon E. Bowman on April 28, 1956 and he survives. She graduated in 1956 from Williams High School and was of the Baptist faith. She was a UA12 in Human Resources with the Army Exchange Service retiring after 25 yrs. Surviving with her husband, Welbon are three sons, Miles E. Bowman and wife Kathy of Dallas, TX, Michael Bowman and wife Karen of Melbourne, FL, Darryl Bowman and wife Anna of Vincinia, Italy, 7 grandchildren, Michael Lee Bowman of Tuscon, AZ, Jennifer Bowman of Tampa, FL, Darryl Lee Bowman, Jr. of Athens, GA, Christopher Bowman of Dallas, TX, Nicholas Bowman of Vincinia, Italy, Marcus Bowman of Vincinia, Italy, Catherine Bowman of Melbourne, FL, one great grandson, Brandon Bowman of Tuscon, AZ, one brother, Fred Cornett of Williams and one sister Sally Davies of Talladaga, AL. She was preceded in death by her parents, 8 brothers and 2 sisters. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am, Monday, November 5th from the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with Jay Thatcher officiating.
