Obituary of Donetta Bortner

Bedford Donetta Bortner, 60, of 1502 23rd Street, Bedford, died at 7:30 am on Monday, February 2, 2004 at Bloomington Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born September 13, 1943, she was the daughter of William Russell and Nellie Ruth (Russell) Cline. She married Ronald J. Bortner on May 10, 1961 and he survives. She was a homemaker and a member of the Hillcrest Christian Church of Bedford. Surviving with her husband, Ronald of Bedford are two sons, David Bortner and his wife, Tysha of Cape Girardeau, MO and Dan Bortner and his wife, April of Bedford; one daughter, Tina Delph and her husband, Grant of Sheridan, IN; six grandchildren, Walker, Ashley, Alex, Dylan, Jordan and Landon; two brothers, Bill Cline of Washington, IN and Jim Cline of Loogootee, IN and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and thirteen brothers and sisters. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 6th at the Hillcrest Christian Church with Pastor Gary Cornwell and Pastor Charlie Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, February 5th at the Day & Carter Mortuary and from 12:00 noon until the hour of service on Friday at the Hillcrest Christian Church.
