Obituary of Russell L. Zeigler

Heltonville Russell Laverne Zeigler, 63, of 1722 Salem Road, Heltonville, IN, died suddenly on May 20, 2003 in Lebanon, Tennessee. Born May 7, 1940 in Adair County, Missouri, he was the son of Russell and Gladys (Wood) Zeigler. He married Carol Dohner on January 4, 1983 and she survives. He was a maintenance worker for the Swifty Oil Company in Seymour, Indiana and was a member of the Moose Lodge in Washington, Indiana. Surviving with his wife, Carol are four daughters, Teresa Zeigler of St. Louis, MO; Dana Riser of Fort Wayne, IN; Colleen Kaiser and Marsha Allen both of Butler, IN; two sons, Thomas Slaughter and Harlee Zeigler both of Butler, IN; six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Friday, May 23rd from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Russ Sage officiating. A graveside committal will follow at 3:00 pm on Friday at Butler Cemetery in Butler, Indiana. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 22nd at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
