With tears in my eyes and a heavy heart, as I see this beautiful picture of Chris, I think of all she was to our family. She made the many final years of my father's life absolutely wonderful. Richard Yaeger once said, "I've been truely blessed to have two wonderful women in my life to love." Chris may not have been my mother but I loved her no less. Rest in peace Chris, I know you are looking down upon us with that great smile.

Crystal took this scared little nursing student under her wing at Dunn during the Summer of 1973 and helped make her into a confident nurse. (Brad and Bruce you know I learned how to give a smooth and painless shot!) She was a great mentor and loved her family dearly. My sympathies to you all.
