Obituary of Sarah Wyatt

Bedford Sarah Wyatt, 82, of 6810 State Road 158, Bedford, died at 12:40 pm on Tuesday, December 25, 2007 at Dunn Memorial Hospital. Born May 12, 1925 in Athol, KY, she was the daughter of Green and Cappie Spicer. She married Thornton Levi Wyatt on May 16, 1953 and he preceded her in death on January 3, 1980. She was a homemaker and a wonderful mother. She attended the Fayetteville Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Anna East and her husband, Patrick of Bedford; one granddaughter, Sarah Louise; three step-grandchildren, Jennifer Gratzer and her husband, David, Katy Merchant and her husband, Lincoln and Kevin East; great grandchildren, Cameron David Gratzer, Madeline Anne Gratzer and Harrison Patrick Merchant; three brothers, Raymond Cecil Spicer and his wife, Faith of Bedford, Lonnie Spicer and his wife, Wanda of Palmyra and Junior Spicer and his wife, Pauline of Mitchell; three sisters, Effie Mae Smith and Eliza Wagoner both of Mitchell and Nannie Tharp of Shoals. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one grandson, Levi Charles (twin brother of Sarah Louise); three brothers, Asbarry, Delbert and Ollie Spicer. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Friday, December 28th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Kenny Walden officiating.
