Sarah and family, Henry was a wonderful person. I feel thankful and blessed to have met him. Having him as a supervisor and seeing his attitude each day truly inspired me. He was a hardworker and didn't give up. Your family has always been so kind and such a joyful part of our community. I will keep each of you in my prayers.

Sara, Ashley, Alex, So sorry to hear of my good boss and friend Henry. You will be lifted up in our prayers and thoughts It has been such a pleasure to work with Henry these last few years. He always tried help me every kind of problem, technical to personal. He could always "bring me down" when I was getting too emotional about a problem. "I think you better sleep on this one" I can hear him now...he was that kind of person. When we were TDY at C-Lake those many times he helped Bonita feel more comfortable in the crowd. He was that kind of person....he will be greatly missed...

Sarah, Ashley & Alex - Please accept my deepest sympathy at the loss of your beloved husband and father. Henry was not only my boss at Crane for many years, but he was a dear friend. I know how much he loved you all as it showed every time he would speak of you. He especially like to talk about the trips you had taken together. If everyone would strive to be like Henry what a wonderful world it would be. I valued his friendship and will treasure the memories that we shared at work. God Bless You All!

Sarah and children, Please allow me to express my sincere and heartfelt sympathy at the tragic and unexpected loss of your husband and father... Even though I did not know him personally, as I read through some of the other notes your friends have left I am comforted in the way that everyone senses the strong connection you had as a family. Even though at this time the loss will be great, in the future you will be able to hold on to those precious memories, values, and experiences you shared and know comfort. One of the traditions here, Sarah, is to place a flower or a flower lei on the ocean and watch it as it is taken out to the open ocean and out of sight. You are to think positive and pleasant thoughts and allow the ocean to take those thoughts as it takes the flower and then know that when the flower is out of sight but not forgotten, that the journey has not ended but just begun, and that on the journey go all of your best thoughts, wishes and prayers. I hope you will not think it strange if I do this for Henry today, as I will never forget the many helpful and encouraging things you said to me during my parents' illnesses and their passing. I wish you comfort and the very best wishes for your future. If there is anything I can do for you and your family, please let me know .

I have known Henry since our Harrison High School days. Henry was a fantastic student and role model. They say "Only the good die young" it is very true for Henry. He never had a bad word to say about anyone and always put the needs of others ahead of his own needs. He was a keeper of the golden rule and a friendly smile bigger than life itself. He will be sorely missed.

Sarah, Ashley, and Alex,
I was shocked and saddened to hear of Henry's untimely death. You have my deepest sympathies.
He was, like the entire Wong family, such a joy to be around. He always spoke words of affirmation to the kids he coached. It seemed to be that for him coaching was more about teaching the kids life-skills and building them up rather than about winning the most games. I know my Alex enjoyed playing on Coach Wong's soccer team.
Henry touched so many lives in such a positive way. He will be sorely missed.
Peace be with you, Stephanie
