Obituary of Mary I. WInkler

Mitchell Mary I. (Hale) Winkler, 66, of 4020 State Road 37, Mitchell, IN, died at 12:06 pm on Monday, December 18, 2006 at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born April 14, 1940 in East Oolitic, she was the daughter of Floyd and Carrie Ann (Honeycutt) Hale. She married Herald Winkler on April 6, 1991 and he survives. She was a homemaker and attended the Trinity Pentecostal Church in Oolitic and the Trinity Pentecostal Church in Little Cincinnati. She enjoyed I.U. basketball and loved her fluffy white cats. Survivors include her husband, Herald of Mitchell; her children, Trena (Evans) Nikirk and her husband, Randy of Bedford; Christy (Evans) James and her husband, Joe of Eastern Greene Co. and Michael Evans and his wife, Stefanie of Bedford; grandchildren, Brandy (Nikirk) Anderson and her husband, Chris, Christopher Nikirk and his wife, Amy, Jacob Nikirk, Lucas Hale Nikirk, Tanner Bough and his fiancee, Danielle , Seth James, Brice James, Jordan Evans, Aaron Evans, Nicholas Evans and Mallory Evans; great grandchildren, Bristol Anderson, Brookson Anderson, Christian Mary Trena Rose Anderson, Madison Nikirk, Casen Nikirk and Little Tanner due in March 2007; step-children, Kathy Marie Moffatt and her husband, Larry of Mitchell, David E. Winkler and his wife, Tracy of Mitchell; step-grandchildren, Brian Moffatt, Lori Moffatt, Melissa Key, Morgan and David Embree; sister, Wilma Stailey of Oolitic; aunt, Estie Wilson of Oolitic. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Floyd Jr. Hale; one sister, Wanda Stafford and one grandson, Chad Michael Rumsey. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 am on Thursday, December 21st from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Keith Thompson and Rev.
