Obituary of Estie M. Wilson

Bedford Estie M. Wilson, 89, of Bedford, formerly of Oolitic for sixty plus years, passed away at 3:33 am on Friday, August 19, 2011 at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital. Born January 24, 1922 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Jacob and Inez (Hillenburg) Honeycutt. She married Richard Wilson on August 7, 1948 and he preceded her in death on January 30, 2008. She was a graduate of the Needmore High School and retired from RCA after forty-one years. She was a member of the Oolitic Pentecostal Church. Survivors include great nieces, Ronda Neill and husband, Mike, Trena Nikirk and husband, Randy all of Bedford, Christy James and husband, Joe of Solsberry; great nephews, Michael Evans of Fayetteville and Mark Stailey and wife, Lisha of Hopkinsville, KY; several great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister, Carrie Hale; one brother, Everett Honeycutt and twins, Edna and Edward (in infancy). Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, August 22nd in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the hour of service on Monday, August 22nd at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
