Obituary of Frances E. Wilson

Bedford Frances E. Wilson, 85, of 3707 Tunnelton Road, Bedford, died at 7:45 pm on Saturday, November 19, 2005 at her residence. Born July 14, 1920 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of John W. and Florence Mae (Easton) Curren. She married Elvet Wilson on March 28, 1940 and he died October 20, 1980. She was employed at the Bedford Office Supply and had later worked at the Well Baby Clinic for thirteen years. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and the Altar Society. Survivors include two sisters, Maxine Scherschel of Mitchell and Colleen Smith and her husband, Glenn of Bedford; two brothers, Robert Curren and his wife, Mary, of Florida and John S. Curren and his wife, Phyllis, of Bedford; one nephew who was raised in the home, Larry Smith and his wife, Jenny; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister, Norma Jane Atchison; two brothers, Thomas and Everett Howard Curren. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 23rd at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Father Rick Elred officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 22nd at the Day & Carter Mortuary. A rosary service will be conducted at 7:00 pm on Tuesday at the mortuary. Donations Information The family asks that friends consider memorial contributions be made to the Bloomington Hospice.
