Obituary of George K. Williamson
Bedford George K. Williamson, 89, of Bedford, died at 11:42 am on Saturday, October 9, 2004 at the Bedford Regional Medical Center.
Born May 6, 1915 in Terre Haute, he was the son of William and Alice Williamson. He married June Shelburn Williamson and she preceded him in death on July 29, 1972. He retired from the Milwaukee Railroad as a yard master after thirty-five years. He was a member of the Bedford Masonic Lodge #14 F & AM and Murat Shrine Club. He was the treasurer of Santas Helpers from 1979 to the present. He devoted his time to children, giving others a better life.
Survivors include one son, Earl Williamson and his wife, Joyce of Nashville, TN; one grandson, James Wildeman of New York; two granddaughters, Paula Nelson and Kelly Mosier and her husband, Mike all of Bedford and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and one brother, Jack Williamson. Funeral Information
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Thursday, October 14th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, October 13th at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Donations Information
