Obituary of Marian I. Williams

Bedford Marian I. Williams, 85, of Bedford, died at 7:29 pm, Monday, December 8, 2014 at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospice House. Born August 4, 1929 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Emery W. and Ruth A. (Lambrecht) Phillips. She first married Wayne A. Ellingsworth in May 1949 and he preceded her in death in November 1984. She then married Clarence Deonne Williams on June 6, 1986 and he survives. She worked at F.W. Woolsworth in Human Resources. Marians greatest love in her life was being a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She had a great passion for gardening and flowers. Marian was a member of Midtown Church of Christ and Wesley Chapel Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband Clarence, one daughter, Mary A. Edmonds and husband David A. of Westfield, IN, daughter-in-law, Kyle Ellingsworth of Bedford, IN, four grandchildren, Aimee M. Edmonds, Jeffrey D. Edmonds and wife Camille, Michael D. Ellingsworth and Cody W. Ellingsworth and wife Jenna B., two great granddaughters; Jerzey Ellingsworth and Haven Edmonds, two stepchildren; DeWayne and Diana Williams of the Campbellsburg area. She was preceded in death by; her parents, first husband in November 1984, and a brother in childbirth. Her son, Phillip Wayne Ellingsworth passed away in August of 2011. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Friday, December 12, 2014 in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Dean Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm 7:00 pm on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
