Obituary of Ruth Leone Ingle

Bedford Ruth Ingle, 92, died Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at 6:50 pm at Westview Manor and Rehab Center. Born October 2, 1913 in Lawrence County, IN, she was the daughter of D. L. and Opal (Simpson) Sheeks. She married Louis Crawford Ingle on August 12, 1933 and he preceded her in death on April 30, 1999. She graduated from Tunnelton High School. She was a homemaker, a 50 year Member of Leesville Eastern Star, a Member of Tunnelton Methodist Church for 60 years and the Tunnelton Homemakers. Survivors include: two daughters, Phyllis Howell and her husband, Ed of Ellettsville, Donna Bartlett and her husband, David of Bedford, one son-in-law, Fred Dunn of Paoli, one sister, Mary (Sheeks) Wood, and her husband, Oren of Bedford, six grandchildren, Vicki Gerkin, Mike Dunn, Mark Dunn, Jerri Todd, Jessica Allen and Najget Kern, Several great and great, great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents, husband, one brother, Roy Sheeks, one daughter, Mary Ruth Dunn, one grandson, Greg Bennett and one great granddaughter, Abigail Blackburn. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, July 21, 2006 in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with Mike Holsapple officiating. Burial will follow in Tunnelton Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday, July 20, 2006 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
