Obituary of Anita L. Whitworth

Mitchell Anita L. Whitworth, 84, of Mitchell, died on Sunday, October 08, 2006 at 12:22 am at Dunn Memorial Hospital. Born November 9, 1921, in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of Alfred and Marie (May) Benninger. She married Kenneth William Whitworth in 1960 and he preceded her in death on November 6, 1999. She was a homemaker, a member of St. Johns Episcopal Church in Bedford, former member of Kappa Kappa Sigma Sorority, former Pink Lady at Dunn Memorial Hospital. Survivors include 1 son, Robert Brian Whitworth and his wife Lydia of Flint, Michigan; five grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Parents, husband and one step-daughter Elaine Buttz. Funeral Information Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:30 am on Thursday, October 12th, 2006 at St. Johns Episcopal Church in Bedford with Father Charles Carpenter officiating. Friends may call from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, October 11th at Day & Carter Mortuary.
