Obituary of Charlene S. Whittredge

Bedford Charlene S. Whittredge, 54, of 5374 Erie Church Road, Bedford, died Friday, December 29, 2006 at her residence. Born May 1, 1952 in Bedford, she was the daughter of William S. and Mary Alice (Rout) Kindred. She married Bruce Whittredge on July 19, 1985 and he survives. She was a graduate of Shawswick High School with the class of 1970. She was a member of the Leatherwood Christian Church and Phi Beta Psi Sorority. She had worked at the Citizens National Bank in Bedford and NWSC Crane. She retired from the U.S. Forest Service. Surviving with her husband, Bruce is one son, Brian W. Pace; her mother, Mary Alice (Kindred) Davis; her step-father, William R. Davis; two step-daughters, Jenny Villarreal and her husband, Michael and Jamie Tincher; three grandchildren, Matthew Whittredge, Ashton Villarreal and Daniel Dwight Tincher. She was preceded in death by her father, William S. Kindred; maternal grandparents, Charles E. and Vivian Rout; paternal grandparents, Herman and Nola Kindred. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 31st from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Sherman Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Leatherwood Christian Church Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday, December 30th from 12:00 noon until the hour of service on Sunday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
