Obituary of Betty Rose Wheeler

Shoals Betty Rose Wheeler, 72, of 20319 N. State Road 450 in Shoals, died at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at her residence.Born February 21, 1935 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Howard and Gertie (Wade) Owen. She married Howard Wheeler and he preceded her in death in July 1998. She was a homemaker.Survivors include one daughter, Darlene Grogan and her husband, Millard of Shoals; six grandchildren, Kristy Brown, Misty Davis and her husband, Ernie, Howard (Chuck) Grogan, Millard (Tex) Grogan and his wife, Melissa and Hillary Grogan all of Shoals and Jeremy Grogan and his wife Sarah of Oregon; seven great grandchildren; one brother, George Owen of Shoals; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, Kenneth Owen and Donald Owen (in infancy). Funeral Information Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, December 17th at Mt. Olive Cemetery. Burial will follow.
